1) We leave Puerto Varas by car to get to Frutillar. One of the most interesting cities of Llanquihue Lake’s basin. Its well-preserved German architecture and the city’s cultural movement, linked to classical music and the Teatro del Lago (Lake Teather) will welcomes us.
2) We will check the bikes and will start riding as we follow the road on south direction, with great views of the lake and volcanos.
3) After the upward parts of the road and finally passing many agricultural farms with a strong German origin, a gentle descent takes us to the picturesque town of Llanquihue.
4) Its going to be 31 kilometers in total, to finally arrive at our last stop of the day, the Chester Beer Brewery, owned by Derek Way. Derek has been producing traditionally craft beer for the last 10 years, and this brewery is the result of years of effort and providing good beer to his friends in Puerto Varas. With an excellent location, this last stop is the best way to finish this great biking day.
If you did not fell the beer taste very well, you can buy some extra to make sure taste good. And dont be worried, we will drive back home!
